Cleric Rips Church Member Of Properties, Plots To Terminate Their Existence.

The General Overseer of Glory Tabernacle Church, located at No. 26 Afurugbin off Ijegemo Road, Ijegun area of Lagos, Prophetess Ngozi Okoye and her husband Pastor Cosmos, has been fingered into a fraud scandal of selling a said property located at Ijegun Area of Lagos and sold without member’s signature on the deed of agreement to four other persons who happens to be members of her ministry.
The case had been taken up by traditional rulers and the police in Zone 2 following a petition as reported by the complainant, Mrs. Buchi Ejiofor and her husband, Tony a member of the church who is said to have bought a property from her spiritual mother, the GO of the ministry for 6.5million in 2020.
Information during an interview with both parties at Zone 2 had it that:
Prophetess Ngozi Okoye and her husband Pastor Cosmos, G.O of Glory Tabernacle Church collected an amount of 6.5m from Mrs. Buchi Ejiofor and her husband, Tony a church member who indicated interest in getting a property located at 6 Jesutedo Street off Community Road in Ijegun. The said property had been bought since 2020 but entrusted into the hands of mummy GO since she is the seller and a trusted ally.
The Document of the property initially sold to the church member bears the name of the buyer, but was later reproduced with the name of the seller, which is, the prophetess and her husband, producing a fake document and sold on behalf of the real owner without her consent as well as no remittance or return of cash to the owner after sales. Also, Prophetess Ngozi had been collecting the arrears of rent from the property for the past two years but did not remit the money to the couple. This had led the couple to visit the place and alas they discovered that Ngozi and her husband have carted away the GeePee storage tank in the compound, which gave a rise in suspicion that something amidst.
Information reaching Mrs Buchi the complainant about the resale of her property made her reach Prophetess Ngozi who confirmed that she truly had sold the said property and used the proceeds for a business which failed. Mrs. Buchi wasnt alerted about the sales of her property neither was she treated with suiting infos, instead she was being bullied , threatened to be killed and mistreated for demanding back her properties she bought for 6.5m.

Barr Mary Joy Okasi who was formerly informed about the matter gave her summation on how the said Mummy GO, Prophetess Ngozi Okoye and her husband Pastor Cosmos had come to her for a legal advice on the matter, after listening to it all, she advised that both parties sit and discuss ways out since it’s a member to Pastor issue pointing to the fact that Mrs Buchi should be given back her properties or cash equivalent, but the perpetrator paid deaf ears to the counsel, instead she prefer to rather intimidate her member to forcefully confiscate the property without remittance as well as cook up plots to terminate their existence, an open threat which led the victims to the police for cover.
Speaking with Mrs Buchi Ejoifor and husband Tony, she stated that she isn’t ready to be settled cash wise, all she wants is to claim her property back and be safe.
The police at Zone 2 is still on the matter as Prophetess Ngozi Okoye had refused to come with her husband Cosmos for interrogation, meanwhile all parties have been instructed to present self for a full investigation into what went down between Mrs Buchi Ejoifor and Prophetess Ngozi who happens to the the General Overseer of the church the complainant had attended for 16yrs.
Prophetess Ngozi Okoye had brought in a legal counsel, one Mr. Solomon to intimidate Mrs. Buchi for seeking protection and fairness from the justice system. To this regards, the President of Ndigbo Buru Otu association having faith in the police, had decided to wade into the matter fully to help the helpless intimidated victim of a fraudulent cleric to get justice.
As of the time of this report, Information has it that the case had been moved to Alagbon thereby forgoing the resolution of the matter in Zone 2 due to the uncooperative effort of the alledged swindler, Prophetess Ngozi and her husband.
