A recent notification from Dangote Petroleum Refinery stated that the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), or gasoline, had dropped. The former price per liter was N990, but now it is N970. The refinery’s Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, released the news in a statement on Sunday. According to him, the price cut is a thank you to Nigerians for their unwavering support as the refinery moves closer to opening. As the year comes to an end, Chiejina said, “This price reduction is a testament to our appreciation for the amazing Nigerian people, who have played a crucial role in making the refinery’s vision a reality.”

The price cut is in line with government initiatives to support local businesses for the benefit of all, he added, thanking the Nigerian government for its support.
Customers were reassured by Chiejina that the refinery is equally focused on environmental sustainability and providing high-quality petroleum products.
He continued, “We are committed to raising production levels to not only meet but also surpass domestic fuel needs, thereby allaying any concerns regarding supply shortages.” Dangote Petroleum Refinery’s continued dedication to bolstering the Nigerian economy and improving fuel accessibility for its citizens is demonstrated by this price change.
