Former Delta State Governor James Ibori’s daughter, Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu, who represents the Ethiopia Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, has called her switch from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) the best move she has ever made in her political career.
The PDP, Ibori-Suenu claimed, was trying to suppress her political ambitions.
She also conveyed her appreciation to the APC leaders and supporters for their support.
“We shall bury the PDP in the Ologbo River, which connects the states of Edo and Delta. I’m already home; APC is the best.She said, “Thank God, I’ve finally left the PDP, even though they wanted to kill my political ambitions.”
Remember how Ibori-Suenu recently defected to the APC from the PDP?
The defection of Ibori-Suenu was praised by Ovie Omo-Agege, the immediate past Deputy Senate President, who called her a political bulldozer.

In the 2027 elections, Omo-Agege said she was confident that her action and that of other APC members will help the party win Delta State.
Honorable Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu’s backing puts the APC in a stronger position to seize Delta.
“Our chances will be significantly strengthened by her enthusiasm and commitment,” Omo-Agege stated.
