Politicians have been cautioned by Dele Momodu, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), not to let selfish desire drive them to ruin.
In response, Momodu said that Senate President Godswill Akpabio should cease speaking on behalf of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) about the electronic transmission of election results. Mark Mark was the Interim National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
In order for INEC to make a decision regarding the electronic transmission of results, Mark tasked Akpabio and the Senate with passing the legislation.
The former Senate President claimed that Nigerians prefer electronic results transmission while speaking in Abuja.
In response, Momodu wrote on X: “We appreciate your excellent intervention, sir, and our ADC Chairman, Brigadier General David Mark (rtd.).”
“I would personally advise our legislators to avoid being driven to hellfire by someone else’s selfish ambition. Encourage open and honest democratic principles.
