The House of Representatives’ Oredo Federal Constituency representative, Hon. Esosa Iyawe, reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to youth development and his Mini Bus Empowerment Scheme during the Oba of Benin Under-18 Football Tournament’s grand finale at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.
Delight FC defeated Irex Sports FC 2-1 in the fiercely contested encounter, thrilling the crowd with their thrilling battle. But the event’s high point was Esosa Iyawe’s historic bus donation to the Edo State Football Association (EFA).
This is the first time the association has done this, and it amply illustrates Esosa Iyawe’s commitment to developing football and helping young players in Edo State.
Speaking at the ceremony, Hon. Esosa Iyawe emphasized the importance of athletics in developing disciplined, responsible, and focused young people and promised to continue supporting athletic endeavors. Since our youth will be tomorrow’s leaders, it is our shared duty to give them the opportunities they need to succeed. One such forum that not only brings us together but also gives our young people the confidence to dream big and succeed,” he said.
