The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the police are looking into claims of fraud and forgery against the CEO of Blessing.
The Delta State Police Command told Punch that they had gotten a complaint about the issue and had begun looking into the claims.
This comes after claims that the influencer faked a cancer diagnosis and used a fake medical report to get donations from the public.
Edefa Bright, the Police Public Relations Officer in Delta State, told the publication mentioned above, “We acknowledge the petitions; we are waiting for the complainants to come and give us their statement.” After that, we will look into it.
Dele Oyewale, the Head of Media and Publicity at the EFCC, said the same thing: “There was a petition submitted; we received it, and we are going to look into it.” Our next steps will depend on what we find.
