The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 22 suspected internet fraudsters in Edo State.

The commission’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday in Abuja.

He said the suspects were arrested on Tuesday in Benin City following actionable intelligence on their involvement in internet fraud.

“Items recovered from them include 10 exotic cars, laptops, and phones.

“The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded,” Oyewale stated.
