Former Nigeria international Austin Eguavoen will continue as coach of the Super Eagles, the Executive Committee of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has deciding.
The committee made this know on Thursday following its approval of the recommendation of the Technical and Development Sub-Committee.
Eguavoen who serves as the Federation’s Technical Director, is standing in as the head coach of the national team following the failure of the NFF to secure a substantial coach for the team.
Eguavoen will lead the Super Eagles to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying matches against Libya billed for next month.

Eguavoen will also continue working with current technical crew that includes Fidelis Ilechukwu, Daniel Ogunmodede, Olatunji Baruwa and Tomaz Zorec.
They will also take charge of the Super Eagles B team for the qualifying campaign for next year’s African Nations Championship, otherwise known as CHAN.
