Eid-El-Kabir: Idimogu Calls for Love, togetherness and Sacrifice.
………..as Muslim marks Eid-El-Kabir offers prayers for the nation.

Honourable Jude Chukwuemeka Omobowale ldimogu has called on Nigerians to continue to love,live in togetherness and pray for the newly elected leaders and peace of the nation.
He stated this on Wednesday while conveying his goodwill message to Nigerians as they celebrate this year Eid-El-Kabir, stating that the act of love, togetherness, selflessness,piety,arms giving and patriotism must be imbibed in all our endeavors.
The former lawmaker who represented Oshodi/Isolo ll State Constituency in the 9th assembly urged Nigerians especially the Muslims faithfuls to uphold the exemplary and outstanding qualities of Prophet Muhammed in their daily pursuit.
” I congratulate our Muslims brothers and sisters on the celebration of this year Eid-El-Kabir,this is yet another opportunity for sober reflection as a nation for us to live in peace, love, togetherness and making sacrifices as stated by Prophet Muhammed”
“It is mostly a day of eating and drinking but let us extend the love and sacrifice to one another not minding our religious difference but seeing ourselves as one entity” he stated.
The lgbo Deputy Apex leader,went further to appeal to Nigerians to use this period of sacrifice to pray for the progress of the nation and support the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is on a renewed hope mission, while also appealing to the government to make sacrifices in terms of cost of governance, noting that making sacrifices should be a collective efforts of both the government and its citizenry.
” We know that the president has already taken tough decisions in the removal of fuel subsidy and the unification of the currency,these are tough economic policies which we know that with time we are going to see the positive effects and the desired hope promised by this administration”
” Let me use this medium to commend Mr President so far on his desire to restructuring the country and giving Nigerians the renewed hope as we have seen in the last few weeks, because Asiwaju is keen in the security of lives and properties,he has changed the security apparatus giving them a marching order to foster peace in the nation and restoring our oil refineries and pipelines thereby reducing the oil thieves in the nation ” he submitted.

Earlier the Muslims faithfuls joined hundred of millions all over the world to offered prayers for peace of the nation in celebration of Eid-El-Kabir.

The annual festival which is also referred as festival of sacrifice marks the end of the Hajj pilgrimage to mecca. It is celebrated with prayers offered to almighty Allah at the Eid ground,followed by the slaughter of sheep and cattle in commemoration of the Prophet Abraham readiness to sacrifice his son to show obedience to Allah.
