With the support of the Eko Innovation Centre and the Eko Carbon and Commodity Exchange, EkoClimathon 1.0 in collaboration with Generation Unlimited 9ja, last week hosted climate sustainability and clean energy stakeholders in Lagos. The event which held in
Ikoyi area of the state had dignitaries like the Special Adviser on Innovation and Technology, Lagos, Tubosun Alake, Chief Executive Officer, A4&T Power Solutions, Ayo Ademilua, Chief Field Officer, Lagos, UNICEF Nigeria, Celline Lafoucniere, Chairman / Founder, Lekki Urban Forest and Animal Shelter, Desmond Olumuyiwa Majekodunmi and more present.

Commending the partnering organisations during the launch, Founder, Eko Innovation Centre, Victor Afolabi stressed the need for more volunteers and partners in the business of seeking sustainability of effective waste management and conversion for clean energy towards a safe climate for our environments.
He therefore thanked Heineken, Access Bank, Shark Bite Team Green Energy, UNICEF, Lagos state govt, Lekki Urban Forestry and Animal Shelter , A4&T Power Solutions for involving in the initiative, stressing that if nothing is done about the waste we accumulate, it will become a disaster, a reason he called on more organisations to join the move to transform waste for economic good.
Mr. Tubosun Alake also took a moment to assure that Lagos state will always back initiatives like this being spearheaded by Eko Innovative Centre.
