Engr. Olasoju Samson Abayomi @50: Unveils SIYCAI, Provides Free Medical Test,Empowers The youth and Less Privileged.

The gathering of guest which includes”The creme de la creme” of the society on 9th April,2022 to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Engr. Olasoju Samson Abayomi was one too many an occasion to go unnoticed.
The first session of the event took place at a multipurpose Hall where all gathered to celebrate the icon of distinction as he made available free medical test to countless numbers of individuals as well as empowerment plan mapped out to help the youths the old and the Less Privileged. The philanthropic celebrant gave out laptops to student to help ease learning processes, sewing machines to artisans, wheel chair to the lame, cash gifts in form of cheque to students, free medical services and other gift items.
There was a line up of programmes which included the celebrant’s speech where he talked about “OUR ROLES AS CONCERNED CITIZENS IN EQUIPPING OUR YOUTHS”, touching all aspects of youth developmental strategies, giving also a keynote address on “THE SUPPORT INITIATIVE FOR THE YOUTHS AND CHILDREN AFFAIRS INTERNATIONAL “. There was also youthful impactful lectures by various speakers who mounted the podium to address the youths while establishing the essence of a program such as is observed, motivational talks, youth empowerment, questions and interactions, collaboration and linkages as well as entertainment.
When asked about his foundation called SIYCAI, The celebrant told the press that SIYCAI has been in existence for 10yrs, it Is a foundation mapped out to empower the young and old of all races and tribe, something he has succeeded in establishing and nurturing to growth and stability. Also SIYCAI is a vision that Is aimed at changing the narrative about Nigerian youths, Engr. Olasoju’s passion for humanity has spurned him towards creating a platform as SIYCAI. He also stated that he has more to offer in years to come as he looks forward to having partners who will also generously donate as he is solely doing.

SIYCAI foundation was officially unveiled significantly to celebrate its founder and also to create awareness significantly to further empower persons of interest and special needs. Hajia Ambassador Asabe Shehu Yar’adua president Asabe Shehu Yar’adua foundation graced the occasion as the mother of the day and donated generously, Dr. Shefiu Abiodun Muritala the accountant general of Lagos State as Father of the day, Prof. Christopher Imumolen chairman as board of trustee, key note speech done by Prof. Olu Ayodabo consultant and professor of PHE Lasu, Special guest of honor, Engr. Oloruntola Mutiu Oluwatosin president Nigeria Society Of Engineers Technicians (NISET), Baale Jagunasoju Olufemi was present, Pastor Akin Akande and Dr. Olusegun Oleleye who has been the celebrant’s mentor for over 2 decades amongst other special guest present at the occasion.
The After event of the celebration was a colourful dinner party for guest in appreciation of the honor accorded to Engr. Olasoju Samson on the occasion of his birthday. The Master of ceremony Afeez Oyetoro the comic actor, popularly known as Saka, treated the guest to his usual jokes and funny expressions, thereby giving a cheerful atmosphere for all to merry.
Speaking with Dr. Olusegun Oleleye, the chairman of the occasion , he told the press that Engr. Olasoju has been like a younger brother for over 30yrs, he described the celebrant as a forthright man, a seasoned Christian, a man of integrity, someone you can rely on, he never fails to fulfil his promises. He further stated that the event is highly remarkable and will borne rapid development and awareness and as such should be emulated . Moreso, Dr. Olusegun expresses his appreciation to the celebrant for the vision of trying to fulfil the purpose of the NGO ( SIYCAI)through the celebration of his birthday, a highly commendable effort while he advises that continuity and integrity should be maintained .
On a final note, the celebrant, Engr. Olasoju Samson Abayomi expresses gratitude to his mentor, Dr. Olusegun Oleleye, Pastor. Akin Akande, his mum, mother of the day Madam Asabe Shehu Yar’adua for donating genously to this course, the guest, the media in entirety and a special thanks to VONN for organising such a successful event.
