After an altercation with her coworker Laide Bakare went viral, Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has spoken out.
According to reports, the movie stars got into a brawl during Sunday’s premiere of Eniola Ajao’s Owanbe Thieves.
Bakare had promised to deal with Badmus for referring to her as a “animal,” saying that by providing the actress-turned-politician a breakout role, she helped propel her to fame.
Eniola Badmus urged industry participants to stand together for the first time since the disaster.
She advised her coworkers to avoid jealousy, noting that fighting isn’t the best course of action.

When “we can all succeed,” the actress emphasized, jealousy was unnecessary.
She wrote on Tuesday in an Instagram post:
“Unity, not conflict, is where true strength lies,” life has a way of teaching us. I think it’s time to allow love take the lead, even though we may have had different roads and experienced tense times.
Envy is unnecessary when we can all achieve success. Just as your achievement does not detract from mine, neither does yours. Together, let’s keep helping each other out and creating something bigger than we could ever do on our own. There is power in solidarity, and the future is more promising than any triumph we have sought on our own.
It is not weakness that should compel us to avoid conflict, but wisdom. Peace is the way forward, and love is the light that guides us.
