Nigerian champions Rangers will host their CAF Champions League home matches at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

The Flying Antelopes, chose the “Nest of Champions” after failing to secure CAF approval for their usual venue, Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium in Enugu, which was deemed unsuitable for international matches.

Rangers, led by coach Fidelis Ilechukwu, will face Union Sportive Zilimadjou from Comoros in the first preliminary round of the competition, scheduled for August 2024.

Meanwhile, Remo Stars, Nigeria’s other representatives in the CAF Champions League, will play their home games at the Remo Stars International Stadium in Ikenne, which has been approved by CAF.

Remo will compete against Morocco’s AS FAR in the first preliminary round.

In the CAF Confederation Cup, Enyimba has received approval to use the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba for their home games.

El-Kanemi Warriors will host their matches at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
