2011 Big Brother Africa reality TV show winner, Karen Igho, has taken to social media to cry out over the domestic violence she is suffering in her marriage to her husband, Yaroslav Rakos.
Igho who tied the knots with the Russian Rakos in 2014 in Jos, Plateau State before relocating to USA, took to X on Tuesday to reveal that her marriage is on the verge of collapse following alleged physical and sexual abuse by her husband and father of her two children.
In one of the posts, she called the attention of Nigerians to what she has been going through, emphasizing that her husband should be held responsible if anything should happen to her.
“I’m going through a divorce with my husband, I have been homeless for a year and I have been hurt sexually and physically,” she wrote.
“So if anything happens ask or hold the man who brought me to a country where and I know no one, he is trying to take children away by saying I’m mentally sick.”
In another post, Karen called for prayers from fellow Nigerians and Africans, adding that if anything should happen to her, her husband should be held responsible.
“God Almighty bless Nigeria and Africa my heart pray for your daughter of the soil. I have been through so much this past years. Please Africans pray for my children and in case you don’t you hear from me again, know that I have been killed, am not sick mentally and don’t do drugs,” she wrote.
