Nigerian crossdresser Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye popularly known in society circles as Bobrisky has openly kicked against being referred to as an ex-convict.

The transvestite who frowned at the tag during an interview with influencer Isbae said that he cannot be called an ex-convict just because he was convicted for spraying his money.

‘’I am not an ex-convict because I can’t be convicted for spraying my money. I am not an ex-convict. I wouldn’t accept that.” Bobrisky said during the interview.

The contentious personality claims to view his incarceration as a “vacation” and revealed that he will resume throwing money about at gatherings but will simply focus on spraying dollars.

‘’It was a time to go and rest. I have been working so hard and I think their decision was okay for me. Their decision was to break me but sadly nothing happened to mummy of Lagos. I am still fine and still good and will continue to be fine and good. ‘

”This people really wanted to break me. I have never seen anywhere they sentence someone for spraying their own money. Everything happened like a movie. ’I sprayed my own hard earned money and I was sentenced to where we have a lot of criminals. It is a whole lot.”

Bobrisky was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at the Federal High Court in Lagos on four counts of naira abuse and two counts of suspected money laundering.

He was convicted for Naira abuse following his guilty plea to the four-count charge and subsequently sentenced to six months in jail without the option of a fine.
