Eze Chika Nwokedi celebrates AIG Alonge @60, commends her exemplary lifestyle as she bows out of service

… Also pays courtesy visits to the office of the commanding officer of FCIID Alagbon

AIG Yetunde Alonge’s occasion of a pull-out ceremony, which attracted dignitaries, royals, and highly ranked police officers, is a double celebration as she clocks 60.

Eze Chika Nwokedi, Ezendigbo Ijegun Ijeododo, Chairman Council of Ezes, his wife, Ugoeze Pst Tessy Chika Nwokedi, and entourage graced the occasion to commemorate with the celebrant, whom the monarch says is a longtime friend and an exemplary leader committed to serve the nation as she bows out of service, fulfilled.

In AIG Yetunde Alonge’s speech, she commended IGP Egbetokun Fayoade for his inclusiveness of women appointed to assume key roles in the Nigeria Police. As the secretary of Force HQ Abuja before her retirement, Longe advocated that more women should be kindly considered for key appointments to contribute their quota to nation-building.

AIG Yetunde, who had led an exceptional lifestyle, also noted that she appreciates the privilege accorded her to be tutored, mentored, and emulated during her course of service to the nation. She appreciated her superiors for their tutelage and colleagues for upholding the law while ensuring safety and security in the nation. Experiences gained will never be forgotten, she added.

In his magnanimous self, Eze Chika Nwokedi, who happens to be the only Igbo monarch in attendance, gave out gifts to the celebrants, police officers, and other visitors as his contribution to celebrate the iconic AIG Yetunde Alonge.

Familiarization with AIG Ogundele J. Ayodeji of FCIID Alagbon subsequently trailed an array of events for Eze Chika Nwokedi, Chairman Council of Ezes, his vice, Eze. Jude Arinze, and his entourage as they paid a courtesy visit to appreciate the efforts of the Nigeria Police and officially to welcome the AIG, who’s the presiding officer of FCIID Alagbon.

Eze Chika gifted the AIG and his men which includes nine commissioners of police, in show of solidarity. He says that for over 30 years of collaboration, his love for Nigerian police is unsurmountable.
