Eze Chukwukadibia condemns planned attack on his 5th New Yam Festival, Says Chukwuakalikamadu misled police.

Eze Apollos chukwukadibia Ezendigbo Oriade condemns the stunt played by Eze Chukwuakalikamadu during his 5th New Yam Festival observed 11th November, 2023 orchestrated to disrupt the celebration in contest of Igbo rulership in Oriade.
Eze Chukwuakalikamadu in a calculated attempt to cancel the already planned event by Eze Chukwukadibia orchestrated a failed plan of intimidation on the designated event centre manager to disallow the event of Ofala to hold in his premises otherwise face difficulties when blood spills and casualties are recorded.Waited for the event commencement before exercising impunity.
Chukwuakalikamadu claims he is the qualified Igbo leader by jurisdiction of stay but lied to the police on true nature of what’s obtainable in the Ezeship council inorder to create a fuss over rulership while Eze Chukwukadibia was the originally crowned Ezendigbo Oriade 5 yrs before the latter was also coronated.
It is a norm that 2 or 3 Ezendigbo can rule a region but will have boundaries in the allocation of rulership, Eze Chukwuakalikamadu had tried in so many instances to over shadow the existing Ezendigbo Oriade who has a home in Oriade LCDA and is qualified to head the region, a reason he was first coronated as the Igbo leader in 2015 after return from Germany.
Giving a briefing of how he came to lead Oriade, Eze Chukwukadibia said he was first made Obi of Onireke by Eze Ogidi chairman of Eze council, who later crowned him Ezendigbo Oriade in 2015 in a developing community(Oriade). Says he declined Initially but according to the president of Ohaneze Nna Nwodo, coronation held in 2015 will be the last Ezeship coronation for any aspirer during his tenure as president until a new administration sets in.
In 2019 Eze Ogidi died and Eze Chukwukadibia was mandated to do customary rights as an Igbo leader coronated during Ogidi’s reign for 18yrs. Furthermore, In 2021 Ochala a chief in the council, a self acclaimed king maker said he wasn’t pleased with Eze Apollos Chukwukadibia’s way of handling politics, Biafran issues. Ochala on this note openly stated that he will get a new Eze to favor his political views, he did so thereby crowning Eze Chukwuakalikamadu

Ochala crowned Eze Chukwuakalikamadu to challenge my position as Eze Oriade to suit his political ambition, I wanted to take the matter up as a member of the Eze council with all my documentation to back up claims but was advised against such situations because in some other regions 2 to 3 Ezes can actually rule in a jurisdiction.
Unbothered by the consistent verbalization of Eze Chukwuakalikamadu, Eze Apollos kept to his leadership capacity as Eze Oriade until the commencement of his 5th Ofala when Chukwuakalikamadu by means of intimidation gave police false information about his rulership to obstruct his already planned ofala festival. On the day of the 5th ofala celebration by Eze Chukwukadibia, he was invited by the Area E Command based on reports made by Chukwuakalikamadu against the owner of the venue of event who was forced to make an undertaken that on no circumstances will he give his event space for the ofala festival.
Eze Chukwuakalikamadu made this forceful assertions to stop the ofala celebration from happening, threatening to make sure there are casualties if the event holds in challenge of Eze Apollos Chukwukadibia’s authourity as rightful and first crowned Eze of Oriade. The latter made the event centre owner sign to the agreement of no release of event centre with threat to disrupt public peace and cause killings if the event holds, there are evidences and documents to back up his claim.
With the intervention of Eze Dr Chika Nwokedi who is chairman council of Ndi-Eze in Lagos, the police was given appropriate information on the true situation of matters concerning the leadership positions of both Ezeship and the event centre was reopened for the ofala to commence.
Due to contingencies, the event opened at a later hour which led to some unrecoverable loses to the tune of N6,000,000 or above as guests feel threatened attending the ofala festival leading to few attendance.

The Eze Chukwukadibia said his decline in the acceptance of friendship with Eze Chukwuakalikamadu from the time he was crowned Ezeudo stems from the untrustworthy attributes he possesses which spells fraudulent activities. Reveals that Chukwuakalikamadu’s suspicious attitude led to his being expelled from towns meeting in Oruku. Described Eze Chukwuakalikamadu as a blood thirsty fellow who will do all it takes to spill blood when he needs to intimidate or cheat others.
Eze Chukwukadibia affirmed that at this junction he’s had enough of Eze Chukwuakalikamadu and would take appropriate steps to define their boundary by seeking a redress in court if unsatisfied with police resolution.
