Commends Rector For Seamless academic Calendar, infrastructural development
A united Nations Organization affiliated body, Freelance Journalist Federation (FJF) has announced the Federal Polytechnic Nassarawa as first winner under it’s (2023 ) Platinum Awards and Honors in the “Academic” category. In a statement released to press by the executive secretary of the federation, Dr Frederick Akaa on tuesday in Abuja noted the noticeable infrastructural development ongoing at the polytechnic as well as the seamless academic calendar which has become a standard practice in the past seven years under Adullahi Amhed led management”
“Overtime, our organization has been the voice of the masses holding public officers to account for the public funds, therefore it behoves on us to commend where there is positive development, so that we can encourage others to embrace development” In this regard the Federal Polytechnic Nassarawa has clearly stood out in terms in reforms”
” This edition of awards since inception has gone through the most rigorous process in order to arrive at a pick as a winner ” for the Federal Polytechnic Nassarawa under the current leadership of Ahmed Abdullahi to have earned this honor is truly commendable ” the statement read.
” In arriving at the nomination, the group said it subjected (132) public and privately owned tertiary institutions to an online poll which was exclusively secured on end to end ” For the institution to have scored 89% in terms of seamless academic session, 90% on infrastructural development, 85% on social welfare and students security and 85% in the general poll rating is truly commendable ”
“As a federation of Freelance Media Practitioners, we have fulfilled our duty in accessing the activities in various sectors of public life so as to enhance development in line with the United Nations objectives on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

“The group said it would dedicate it’s february 2023 special edition of the their print and online platform to publish the modest achievements recorded so far in the institution” this is a pat on the back for the management to do more” the statement added.
While congratulating the rector for his nomination as “Action News” Man of the Year (2022) the group said it would lead a delegation to decorate the rector at an appropriate date in the near future.
