Bashir Ahmad, a former Special Assistant on Digital Communication to former President Muhammadu Buhari, has stated that Peter Obi lacks the leadership qualities he portrays to Nigerians.
Ahmad made the statement in response to a debate about the supposed threat to Obi’s life made by the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
Morka claimed in a Saturday interview with Arise News that the former Labour Party presidential candidate “crossed the line” during his New Year’s Day State of the Nation address.
The APC spokesman also alleged that the former Anambra State governor provided terrible leadership and left no legacy during his eight-year stint in the state.

He asserted that Obi lacked the authority to criticize President Bola Tinubu’s policies, which he claimed were beneficial to the country’s economic development.
On his X account, APC Chieftain Ahmad re-echoed Morka’s submission.
“If Peter Obi actually is the transformative leader he has been attempting to portray, he might have shown it during his eight years as governor by transforming Anambra into a model of good governance in Nigeria. However, he accomplished little during his term. “He left Anambra with no tangible progress or legacy to his name,” Buhari’s former assistant added.
