The first meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Strategy, Conflict Resolution, and Mobilization Committee took place in Abuja on Wednesday night.
At the Yobe State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja, Mala Buni, the governor of Yobe State and head of the committee, welcomed the gathering.
Governors Hope Uzodimma (Imo), Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti), Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta), Hyacinth Alia (Benue), Siminalayi Fubara (Rivers), and Uba Sani (Kaduna) were among those present.
Bello Matawalle, the Minister of State for Defense; Adegboyega Oyetola, the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy; Yahaya Bello, the former Governor of Kogi State; Senator Kabiru Marafa; Muiz Banire, the former National Legal Advisor for the APC; and Ibrahim Masari, President Bola Tinubu’s Special Assistant for Political Affairs.
The committee’s governors, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara), Umar Namadi (Jigawa), and Bassey Otu (Cross River), were not present.
Recall that on Wednesday, December 24, President Bola Tinubu established the committee with the goal of resolving internal APC disputes and bolstering the party’s national mobilization initiatives.
