Harrison Gwamnishu, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s personal assistant, described how kidnappers sought a ransom of ₦15 million, along with cooked jollof rice, chicken, energy drinks, and other stuff, in order to free a driver and a doctor.
As per Gwamnishu, the abduction took place on the Issele-Uku motorway on Monday night at approximately 6:30 p.m.
Gwamnishu claims the kidnappers, who are allegedly armed Fulani, demanded the ransom in return for the prisoners’ safe release.
He claimed, “They carried out another attack, this time at the Issele-Uku Express, yesterday evening,” on Facebook. A passenger that Chibueze, an airport driver, was taking from Issele-Uku to Asaba is among the victims. They were abducted between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. The individual who managed to escape from the abductor claims that Fulani Armed Kidnappers are the culprits.
The Armed Fulani kidnappers at Ubulu-Okiti Express in Delta State were just given another N15,000,000 in ransom, along with cooked jellof rice, chicken, energy drinks, and other items.
The ransom was delivered along the Ubulu-Okiti Express in the state, Gwamnishu continued.

“They (the attackers) abducted the victims from Issele-Uku yesterday evening and demanded ransom at Ubulu-Okiti last night.” so they didn’t travel very far,” he wrote.
Concerning the paucity of funds and resources for local vigilante organizations, Gwamnishu stated that they are ill-equipped to combat the threat.
“I observed our people here vehemently complaining about their lack of resources and funding. According to what I was told, they will be in the bush if they are well equipped. Am I to believe them? Definitely,” he continued.
Ogwashi-Uku, Azagba-Ogwashi, Issele-Azagba, Edo-Ogwashi, Aniagbala, Ubulu-Uku, Issele-Uku, Utulu, Ibusa, Ubulu-Unor, Anifekide, Akuku-AGBOR, and Onicha-Ugbo were among the communities where the governor’s aide cautioned the populace to exercise caution.
