The PDP Governors’ Forum, chaired by Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State on his 54th birthday anniversary on Saturday.
The forum praised Makinde’s achievements and efforts to transform Oyo State in a statement issued by its Director-General, CID Maduabum, on Saturday in Abuja.
The forum thanked God for blessing Makinde with wisdom and good health, especially in the last two years as governor of Oyo state.
The PDP governors praised Makinde’s transformation of Oyo State, describing it as “from a debtor economy to a state now innovatively using agribusiness and technology in rebuilding its capacity to provide for the basic needs of its people.”
“The Forum is enthralled by your inspiring achievements in agriculture, sports infrastructure, universal education, and massive road projects, particularly rural roads connecting your agriculture multiplication estates in the State to points of sale, both within and beyond the State.”

As they engage with the myriad challenges of insecurity, banditry, and terrorism facing the country, the PDP governors recognized Makinde’s outstanding contributions to the party’s progress, as well as brotherly love among PDP governors.
The forum wished Makinde a happy birthday and wished God’s blessings on him, his family, and the people of Oyo State.
