Collins Ajereh, better known as Don Jazzy, the founder of Mavin Records, has talked candidly about the personal costs he has incurred while establishing his career in the music business.
According to reports, the award-winning producer, who has helped artists like Tiwa Savage, Rema, and Ayra Starr achieve success, acknowledged that marriage is the one aspect of life that he never imagined missing.
The 42-year-old revealed on the Echo Podcast that he never thought he would be single into his forties.
He stated that although he is receptive to the concept, he is also happy with his current existence.
He clarified that he has no regrets, but he will accept marriage if it is offered to him.
“I never imagined that I would be in my forties and single. I might have lost that one. It will arrive if it does. “I’m completely fine if it doesn’t,” he acknowledged.
When asked about other options, Don Jazzy said that he probably would have followed a career in music or succeeded as an influencer even if he had not gone into music management.
Before becoming famous, the music executive was married in his early twenties.
In 2003, he married writer and model Michelle Jackson in London.
Don Jazzy later attributed the breakup to his commitment to music and the pressures of his business. The marriage terminated two years later.
