ICIR Hold National Council Meeting At Ibadan, Count Blessings.

The frontliners and executives of the International Council For Ifa Religion (ICIR) had on Friday,10th of September,2022 held the national council meeting of the group at Apata area of Ibadan,Oyo state.
Present at the meeting were the group’s supportive pillars and leaders from all states of the nation especially the pioneer stakeholders from the southwest region.
According to the national leader of the association on the day,High Chief Sholagbade Popoola a.k.a Oluwo Nla disclosed that the meeting is occasionally held to discuss some important issues that will lead to its progress.
“The group,since its establishment in 1973 has been waxing stronger with the abilities to win some positive goals. We have been able to maintain the laid down plans of the founder. There’s no way we will write the stories of the International Council For Ifa Religion without mentioning late High Chief Ifayemi Awopeju Bogunbe and the Oguda Meji Temple at Apata here in Ibadan. We are purely traditional worshippers and promoters of African culture.”he explained.
“Since its registration under the federal government in 1999,we have been able to establish some branches outside Nigeria. Observing one of the major reasons of founding the group,ICIR have outshined the other groups by showing the people around the world the truth about tradition in Africa.”he confirmed.

The annual observation of the ‘testimonies-loaded’ World Ifa & Orisa Festival at Ado Ekiti, according to the President has brought lots of achievements,”The eight edition of the pilgrimage exercise in 2022 was done with the presence of the Ekiti State government with us for the total counts of nine days. That’s a huge goal out of the truths we are fond of spreading through the traditional belief of ours. We were promised to be well supported in the next edition.”
