Applications to postpone a lawsuit over the tenure of local government officials in Osun State have been rejected by a Federal High Court in Osogbo.
Two requests for adjournment submitted by counsel representing the All Progressives Congress (APC) were denied by the court, which was presided over by Justice A.A. Demi-Ajayi.
The judge ruled that the court would no longer consider “needless adjournment in the interest of justice” because the case had dragged on for too long.
