Ikotun Progressive Business Association Celebrates End Of The Year In A Grand Style, Gives Gift Items Via Raffle Draw.

The gathering of IBPA members for the year ended was a celebration of like minds as well as business persons with the vision to expand and succeed in various area of specialisation.
This year’s event holds a significance to mouth watering activities and valuable gift items to be won through a raffle draw of random picks to beneficiaries which includes members of the business association, families, friends and invitees.
Some high profiled guest was also seen in attendance and this includes: The Ezendigbo of Alimosho, Eze Lawrence, Eze Of Ijeododo, Hon. Augustine Ezeanya, Ada Igbo of Alimosho, The chairman of Igbo speaking community in Ikotun/Igando Chief Izuegbunam amongst others… These VIPs were led to also conduct the inauguration of a new secretarial office of IBPA, an achievement in the one year administration led by Amb. Malachi, the president of the Association.
Sir Malachi Anayochukwu, chairman of Ikotun Progressive Business Association told the press that his one point agenda in his now 1yr rule as the President of Ikotun Progressive Business Association is to lead members into financial freedom and this had led him into initiating several finance groups to help people into getting substantial amounts to start a business without interest, collateral or sureties. He said this initiative is about helping business persons create more wealth, interested persons must identify with any of the financial groups for business owners or initiatiated programs for financial aid so as to be eligible for the loans and grants.
The various finacially aided groups are: Ambassadors sales group which gives 1m naira worth of loan, Divine Favour group gives loans from N500,000, Amazing grace group gives N250,000 loans every week, Grace Of God gives N100,000 as start up capital or support capital .These groups are auxiliary financial aids built by Malachi to curb lack of business capital.
The aim of this setup of financial aid is to end the misconduct, embarrassment and excess gains by micro finance organisations which had led to the collapse of businesses that are barely thriving to survive.
This year’s event Is deemed to be a special one as members and non members who attended benefitted from the event of raffle draws created. There were individuals who took home refrigerators, washing machines, electric fans, generators, cable tv decoders, Toast machines, electric cookers and so many other prices.
Speaking with some beneficiaries from the raffle draw who won a washing machine, One Mrs Esther noted that she isn’t even a member of the association but was invited and decided to take part In the raffle draw by buying a ticket of N200 but had gotten a price of over N100,000 worth of Washing machine, same goes to other beneficiaries who took home some other items like fridge, fans, cookers, decoders etc.

The chairman of the event, a third hierarchy of PDP in Imo State, Hon. Chief Sir Augustine N Ezeanya took some time to have a media chat with the press stating his position towards the outcome of the raffle draw as satisfactory enough to portray fairness and equity as he made sure of transparency to the latter.
A brief introduction into whom Hon. Augustine is, he told the press that In 2013, he was an aspirant under PDP whom was supposedly a candidate to run in the House of Assembly for Orlu constituency, he is also the Secretary of Campaign Council under Orlu Loc. Govt for Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) In Imo state. He was also a member of protocol and is presently holding other important political offices for PDP party in his constituency.
