Rapper Tobechukwu Melvin Ejiofor, better known by his stage name Illbliss, has cautioned that Nigeria is at a very perilous juncture in its history.

“In 2020, I had this record called ‘Country,'” he remarked. It was removed from the radio. Prior to “Country,” I put out other politically oriented songs like “National Cake” and “A Different Kind Of War.” But OAPs often claim that they are not allowed to perform these kinds of music because they risk being penalized. When you release an album, you occasionally get a hundred or more tweets asking, “Why are you always trying to make a mockery of the country?” It is not as horrible as it seems.
