Don Richard, a well-known Nollywood actor, has asked Nigerians for assistance after battling kidney ailment.
According to reports, his coworker Biola Adebayo posted a video of the movie star’s plea on Instagram on Tuesday night.
In the video, Richard said that he had sold his home and vehicle to pay for his medical bills.
“My wife began crying when she heard about my health,” he stated. “And another man is a lucky man,” I told her. I pleaded with her to raise my twins kindly.
She went right away after leaving the hospital to get rid of our house and car so that I could get therapy. I’m at my very end.
Biola Bayo tweeted, “Don Richard has been down with a kidney in a while,” while sharing his account details.

In the meantime, Nigerian actor Chinedu Okeke has responded to rumors that he quit the film business because he was frequently portrayed as an armed robber.
The actor, who is well-known for his parts in action-packed Nollywood movies like V-Boot, Shina Rambo, Peace Maker, and Issakaba, reportedly said this in a recent interview.
Earlier this year, the rumor began that Chinedu had pleaded with directors for lighter jobs since she was sick of portraying violent and crime-filled roles.
He also allegedly quit Nollywood because his roles in the film industry made him appear like a criminal in real life.
According to Chinedu’s response to the story, he never said such things and had no grounds for grumbling about the parts that made him famous.
He claimed to still be very interested in acting and to be willing to perform any role, even romantic ones.
Using the occasion, he urged producers to contact him about new parts, stating that he is available and prepared to make a big comeback to the entertainment industry.
