Nyesom Wike, the FCT Minister, received a visit from Yahaya Bello, the immediate former governor of Kogi State, at his home in Abuja on Thursday afternoon.
Bello, who is currently dealing with several fraud charges worth billions of Naira, was joined by Ahmed Usman Ododo, his successor and current governor.
The former governor is thought to be looking to build new partnerships with powerful members of the cabinet of President Bola Tinubu. This comes after he became estranged from crucial APC (All Progressives Congress) initiatives.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has brought several complaints against Bello before an FCT High Court and a Federal High Court in Abuja.
