China’s military assistance to Nigeria is already having a good impact, according to Mudashiru Obasa, the speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Nigeria is addressing instability with the help of Chinese military assistance, according to Obasa, which takes the shape of training and domestic armaments manufacturing.
According to a statement provided to reporters on Tuesday, Obasa gave a speech during the PRC’s 76th anniversary celebration in Lagos. The legislator stated that the bilateral connection between the two nations has greatly benefited Nigeria.
In terms of military assistance, Obasa insisted that Nigeria’s current level of security has been enhanced by the assistance it has gotten from China.
He went on to say that Nigeria and other African nations now have better security thanks to the two nations’ strengthened military cooperation, which now sees China concentrating on domestic military training and armaments manufacturing.
Obasa also emphasized how China has helped with Lagos State’s infrastructural projects.
The improved military cooperation between the two nations is already paying off, with China emphasizing domestic military training and armaments manufacturing as part of initiatives to boost security in Nigeria and throughout Africa.
In-depth and friendly discussions on China-Nigeria relations and regional and global topics of shared interest were held between Presidents Tinubu and Xi Jinping during the visit.
As important representatives of large developing nations and emerging economies, the two presidents agreed that their countries were at a new historical beginning. In the new era, they decided that their improved strategic collaboration will drive a new dynamic for China-Africa relations.
“China has made substantial investments in the construction of vital infrastructure, including roads, bridges, and rail systems, which have improved our economic landscape and enriched our societies, resulting in Lagos’ remarkable growth,” the Lagos Speaker stated.
