Regarding Christian genocide in Nigeria, the Youth Wing of the Christians Association of Nigeria has disputed with Daniel Bwala, an advisor to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to YOWICAN, it is regrettable that Bwala and his family are not impacted by Christian genocide.
This was revealed by YOWICAN National Secretary Bako Adashu Elijah during his speech at the convention over the weekend in Jalingo, Taraba State.
This occurs as Bwala continues to maintain that the allegation of Christian genocide in Nigeria is false.
Elijah did, however, restate that there is actual Christian murder in Nigeria, particularly in the northeast.
He claimed that the recent “wake-up call” issued by US President Donald Trump over the purported murder of Christians in Nigeria has once again brought the nation’s persistent problems to the attention of the world.
“Our stance as YOWICAN has not changed: there has been and is still genocide in some areas of Nigeria.
“Any attempt to minimize or misrepresent this reality is the result of media deception.
Our Reaction to Mr. Daniel Bwala. We politely address Mr. Daniel Bwala, our father and older brother, and his response to our previous call to the Nigerian President. Luckily, Mr. Bwala is from Borno State in the northeast. It is regrettable if the threat of Christian genocide does not impact his family or his people because he is presently enjoying the comforts of administration.
He reaffirmed the demand that Nuhu Ribadu, Nigeria’s National Security Advisor, be replaced due to persistent instances of insecurity.
“We urgently need professional, effective, and responsive leadership in national security, which is why we are calling for Mr. Nuhu Ribadu to be replaced as National Security Advisor.
As a result, we reiterate our request today: “Mr. President, please replace the National Security Adviser.”
