Significant amounts of illegally obtained weapons and ammunition have been recovered by the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) in Lagos, which raises grave security concerns.

Although officials have not yet revealed the precise value or quantity of the intercepted guns, they have acknowledged that the seizure is significant.
The Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Zone “A” in Ikeja is due to get a briefing from Comptroller-General of Customs Adewale Adeniyi, who has arrived in Lagos.
