A 21-year-old businesswoman of Kasompe area in Chingola was allegedly assaulted s3xually by her 39-year-old landlord on the 29th of November 2024, at around 21:00 hours at an unmarked house on Luangwa Road in Kasompe, Zambia.
Copperbelt police commissioner Peacewell Mweemba explained that the incident happened after the victim returned home from a drinking spree, leaving her door open due to her intoxicated state.
He said upon seeing her state, the landlord decided to have s3x with her and she was only awoken when she felt the landlord sweating on top of her.
He added that upon seeing her landlord, she shouted for help and the suspect was apprehended by neighbours.
The matter was reported to Kasompe Police Post, where a docket of the case has been opened, and an arrest has been made.
