Joshua Zirkzee of Manchester United and Nigerian international Victor Osimhen are not interested in a trade involving Napoli.
The 2022–2023 Serie A champions would prefer to facilitate a straight sale of Victor Osimhen, who is presently on loan at Galatasaray, according to an Italian publication, Cult of Calcio.
Although a possible sale has been discussed, the report revealed that Napoli is more concerned with getting the entire transfer fee for the gifted striker, even if that means holding out until the summer.
“They admit that there are talks about a potential trade between Joshua Zirkzee and Victor Osimhen, but Napoli’s main goal is to take advantage of Osimhen’s value,” the report stated.
Although Galatasaray has played down the possibility of leaving in early January, future plans will be determined by the proposals made, since interested parties will also need to bargain with the Turkish team. If a team exercises the striker’s release clause, a move might be possible.

Instead of considering Zirkzee in their plans, Napoli is looking for a complete financial return on Osimhen’s skills, whether from Manchester United or another buyer.
However, Manchester United has been thinking about making a move for Osimhen, possibly including the struggling striker Zirkzee in the transaction.
Recall that Osimhen made a big impression after joining Galatasaray on loan from Napoli at the start of September. In nine games during the 2024–2025 season, he scored eight goals and provided four assists.
The 25-year-old is currently scheduled to return to Naples in the summer, even if there were prior rumors that he would leave his loan early.
Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain were apparently the most interested teams at the time, but Osimhen was benched from the Napoli team after failing to land a permanent deal in the summer.
