Ndi Igbo Buru Otu Marks End Of Year In Style, Award Gifts Worth Millions Of Naira To Raffle Draw Winners

Massive turnout at the yearly event of the Ndi Igbo Buruotu Association of Nigeria, the socio cultural organisation celebrated the ‘End of Year’ event in a grand style on 2nd Dec. 2023. This year’s gathering was more rewarding for members and invitees who got gift of cash in cheques, food items, electronic gadgets and various consolation prices.
Raffle draw initiated as part of the activities planned by the association also had lucky winners from members in-house and outsiders who won several prices including fridges, fan, cookers, blenders food items and other consolation prices. The Ndi Igbo Buruotu Association of Nigeria made this year’s event more remarkable for it’s many achievement in the last 8yrs of existence.
Eze Chika Nwokedi the Ezendigbo Ijegun Ijeododo and founder Ndi Igbo Buruotu Association of Nigeria is known for his versatility in the consolidation of leadership capacity as seen in the coordination of his events and subsequent programs. He said the association committed millions of naira to this course to make it a memorable rendezvous for members, invitees and outsiders who also benefitted from the goodwill.
Eze Chika commenced the opening of the event by rewarding outstanding members of the association, the lucky members in their numbers had cheque gifts, food items, Electronic gadgets. Those who won these gifts and consolation prices were awarded in the category of best prayer message of the year, best comment responder, most delectable, neatest man/woman,most punctual member, best welfare officer, best behaved persons, Mr &Mrs integrity, others….
The Ndi Igbo Buruotu members awarded with gifts includes: Chief Godswill Ogbuka, Chief Mrs Ada Odiri, Peter Fish, Barr. Nnajiego Peter, Oge Barnabas Amaechi,Rev Dr Moses Okwuosa, Barr. Mary Joy Okasi, Akajiofor Chief Dr Godswill Anaeme, Chief Dr Ngozi Chukwu Iwuoha,CEO GoodGod Pharmaceutical, Chief Comrade Ifeanyi Iguegbe, Chionso Osuji, Mrs Rita Akubueze, Njideka Nwafor (Adamazi), Mrs Madueke Joy, Chibuzor, Njoku Edmond Uzuoma and Others…
In the activities of the event, the raffle draw was most significant amongst others, the pick was done randomly and lucky winners emerged. The winners of these lottery are; Mrs Andaline Echenem the 1st winner who went home with a deep freezer worth N210,000, Miss Chisom the 2nd winner of the raffle draw won a generator set, Firezone Ministries got the 3rd price of plasma TV, The 4th winner happens to be GoodGod, he won a gas cooker, the 5th winner Ikechukwu won an ox fan, Prince Valentine Ezeruo the 6th winner went home with a blender. Other winners Ifeanyi Njoku, Oba oloye owusola, Ebudike chibuzo,Micheal ohagu, Osabuike Amarachi,Moses Okwuosa all went home with consolation prices.
The association also crowned the queen, king and tester to represent the image of the Ndi Igbo Buruotu Association, they are ambassadors who will champion the course of giving a facelift of good representation both monetarily, morally and physically. The crowned persons are: Mrs Ogbuka, Obi Tochukwu the mayor of the association and the Tester.

Andaline Enchenem who won a deep freezer as the first winner of the raffle draw expressed surprised and gratitude. Says she is a member of igbo speaking Committee and not member of the association yet found worthy to be accorded the first price. Revealed the timely gift was very necessary, she had plans to get a new fridge after loosing the former, affirmed the raffle draw wasn’t partial, the pick was done randomly, appreciate Eze Chika for his service to humanity.
Chisom the 2nd winner of the raffle draw says she is lucky to have won a generator set, reveals she was shocked at the call that she won a price, praised mom who encouraged her to apply for the raffle draw in the first place, thanks the organisers.
The 3rd winner who won a plasma TV with the name Fire Zone Ministries gratifyingly appreciated the initiative to conduct a raffle draw, express satisfaction in the random picks that had earned him a precious price. Reveals that upon buying the tickets to be raffled he placed them on the alter for prayers, affirms it’s the Lord’s doing. Thanks organisers and Eze Chika for creating such opportunities.
The 6th winner Prince Valentine Ezeruo who won a blender says he didn’t attend the event but was called to come receive his price as a winner, says this shows credibility and fairness in Igbo Buruotu Association. Obi Tochukwu the Mayor of Igbo Buru Otu Association of Nigeria affirms this year’s event is significantly unique with the initiative of raffle draw, cash prices in cheque, food item gifts and consolation prices awarded to outstanding members. Says his role as the mayor of the association is that of welfare. Appreciates organisers of the event.
Rev. Moses Okwuosa of Refiner’s Fire Deliverance Chapel Int’l Ministry and 2nd Vice of Igbo Buruotu Association of Nigeria told the press during an interview that the association has advanced in strength and capacity over the years. Recounts achievement so far which includes catering for the widows, securing acres of land for the benefit of members, soft loans with no collateral given by the association for business purposes, a clinic meant to serve members etc. Commends the leadership of Eze Chika.
Mrs Rita Akubueze popularly called Madam Longrich an executive member of Igbo Buruotu Association said having spent 5yrs in the association, she has witnessed significant changes over the years. The end of the year celebration observed yearly is a day set aside to thank God for life.
The association she said has grown in leaps and bounds and has surmounted every hurdle to become a recognized entity as seen. Says the raffle draw is an exceptionally fair pick as lucky winners emerge, assures next year will be better, expresses gratitude for being awarded.
Okuego Anthony Ebuka, Osinachi 1 of Obodoukwu a member of the association says the essence of the yearly celebration is not to merry alone but to ThankGod for life. He noted that 2023 is unique for the added significant changes established by the association. The raffle draw which had millions of naira dedicated to it’s course is a new development that will be sustained for a longtime, affirms absolute support made available to members in good and bad times. Applauds the effort of the founder for his versatility.
In an interview with Eze Amb Dr. CC Nwokedi, founder of the Ndi Igbo Buruotu Association of Nigeria, he revealed why he initiated a new activity of raffle draw in the association’s end of the year program, says its a way of giving back to the society in favour of all. Reveals there will be a bigger version of the raffle draw event in the first quarter of 2024 where more valuable prices will be given in car rewards, Tricycle popularly called “keke napep”, mini buses, motocycles, watches and so on. The multiple award winning Ambassador who recently achieved a great feat as awarded “The supreme soul title” by a group of Indians couldn’t but feel fulfilled with the outcome of the 2023 end of year celebration. Described himself as a selfless man who derives joy in the happiness of others having extended magnanimity towards the less privileged in fulfillment of promises he made to God.
Eze Chika Nwokedi said in the last 8yrs the association had existed, he had worked assiduously with his subordinates to advance the course of the association in selfless services to widows, the less priviledged as well as other humanitarian aid accorded to deserving individuals. Reveals Dec 14th 2023 is a day set aside to bless 170 widows in the society in cash and food items.

In the celebration of yuletide, Eze Chika advises all to be security conscious, says the igbos should maintain peace, respect the laws of the land, stay off crime and respect the owners of Lagos especially those in charge of authourity. Affirms the DPO in Ijegun Isheri division has been able to maintain peace and orderliness, raises concerns about land issues which he confirmed is under control.
