Ndigbo Buru Otu Association Merry In Solidarity, Award Notable Members

Ndigbo Buru Otu Association Of Nigeria during its May meeting celebrates the newly inaugurated excos as well as merry in solidarity to revive unity amongst members while giving thanks to God for the 7 years of its existence.
The meeting took place at the palatial residence of the founder, Eze Dr. CC Nwokedi on May 6th, 2023 and was well attended by members and invited guest to deliberate on pending matters as well as way forward towards achieving more significant progress and multiple membership in 2023.
During the meeting cum event, awards was given to members who out of their philanthropy had served the association judiciously without prejudice or tribalism. They had also merited the awards not because they are wealthy but because of the exemplary life style they had led towards being an immense contributor and participant in the growth and development of the association.
Ndigbo Buru Otu Association Of Nigeria was found in 2016 with the aim of uniting and aiding the Igbos in Lagos towards success and progress, to be of good conduct devoid of any form of criminality, to help one another financially, uplift the oppressed in the society, cater for the widows, less priviledged, the needy and so on.
The association over the 7 years of its existence had done so much to achieve its aims despite societal challenges. It has recorded series of magnanimous contributions to cater for widows, the vulnerable, the poor, the homeless and helpless in the society. Furthermore, many members have benefitted from the housing scheme provided by its founder Eze Dr. Chika Nwokedi who had created opportunities for members by means of philanthropy to own lands and build houses at an affordable price enough to serve most of its members.
Naomi Sophy Blog had a chat with some of the executive members of the association to get their views on what the association had achieved so far and this is what they had to say:
“Rev DR. Moses C Okwuosa, Chief Shepherd Refiner’s Fire Deliverance Chapel Int’l ministry, 2nd vice president Ndi-Igbo buru-otu association told the press that the association was founded in 2016 under the chairmanship of Eze Dr. CC Nwokedi, Eze Okpoko of Ijegun Ijeododo and was formed not only mainly to help the Igbos but people in general. He said the association is making a great impact despite some financial challenges and the essence of the event held is to reunite strongly its members, also to officially welcome the new excos ceremonially. Charges all Igbos to keep the culture going, promote unity and peace.
Chief Emmanuel Onyebuchi Adimdu, Former Vice President of Ndigbo Buru Otu Association Of Nigeria also noted that the association had grown immensely from what it was 6yrs back, a notable development that had borne a great deal of popularity and prestige due to its non tribal activities of philanthropy to the less priviledged as well as it’s members who needs any form of financial upliftment. Says the event was created to celebrate oneness, grace and progress amongst the members as law abiding citizens with utmost morality. He also said the association had time in time out invited uniform personnels to educate the members on the rights and responsibilities of a law abiding citizen as well as other educative interactive sessions held to strengthen the essence of the group.
Chief Dr. Chukwuemeka Godswill Ogbuka the current Vice President Ndigbo Buru Otu Association said the event was well thought out to solidify unity amongst its members, advises Igbos in general to be law abiding citizens, highly elated the founder of the association for creating beneficial projects to elevate members.
PRO and publicity secretary of the Ndigbo Buru Otu Association Of Nigeria also noted that after the ofala celebration which was held in March, the founder of the association, Eze Chika had kept to his promise of creating an event to celebrate the new excos in the 7th year of the association’s existence as observed today. She also talked about the achievement so far of the association in caring for widows, less priviledged, the sick, building habitable homes for the homeless and so on. Says the association was formed to unite the Igbos, a non discriminatory group.
Chief Ifeanyi Iguegbe also said the association had grown effortlessly over the years to its 7th year of existence in 2023. Says the essence of the event is to ease out on irregular activities from the beginning of the year so far. A way of Thanksgiving to God for protection and provision over the members of the association. He also said the humanitarian activities of the association cuts across tribes and cultural backgrounds. Reveals that the only notable challenge is sponsors who will support the course of the association.
HRM Oueen Pst. Dr. Tessy Chika Nwokedi, the wife of the founder of Ndigbo Buru Otu Association Of Nigeria Eze Dr Chika Nwokedi who happens to have a chat with the media noted that the progress of the association is a notable one due to its achievements so far since inception. She said members of the association had benefitted greatly as well as contributed to the growth of its existence. The association had also a good reputation before public eyes due to the magnanimity shown in different capacities to persons of interest and even non Igbo tribes. As the wife of the founder she is tasked with taking up responsibilities to oversee the activities of the association and can vividly attest to the fact that it is a non tribalistic group.
Barr Nnajiego the legal adviser, chairman board of trustees of the Ndigbo Buru Otu Association Of Nigeria stated that so far so good all legal matters of the association are treated by his office, affirmed that the members are law abiding citizens who acts according to the rule of law.”
Eze Chika Nwokedi, Eze Okpoko 1, Ezendigbo Ijegun Ijeododo, Founder Ndigbo Buru Otu Association Of Nigeria, The first Council Chairman of Ndi Ezes in Lagos says the association is known for its magnanimity towards members and non members irrespective of tribe or culture, although the association was formed to give the Igbos a common ground to reach one another in unity and peace. Says the event of today was created as a form of Thanksgiving to God for the years of existence so far.
While recounting the achievements of the association, Eze Chika stated that the association has vast benefits for its members. Through the association many are landlords and business as loans are given without collateral or interest with an extensively conducive period of payment. The homeless has also been given opportunities to live in a built home by the association as well as so many other benefits. He also revealed that his closeness with the police dated back to many years of cordial relationship as he mostly reciprocates with supporting the police whenever he is called upon. The association has also awarded notable uniform personnels in appreciation of their goodwill.
He told the press that the awarded members had in their capacity contributed selflessly in cash and kind to the growth and development of the association and deserves to be recognized. Those awarded includes: HRM Queen Pst. Dr. Tessy Chika Nwokedi, Lolo Ifeoma Goodness Ogbuka, Chinevizor Chibuzo, Captain Tony Anioma(T-Black), Chief Chisimdi Ezediokwere, Lolo Chizoba Okoli, Mario Francis E, Chief Dr. Chukwuemeka Godswill Ogbuka, Osita Okeke, Onyekachi Chijioke, Rev. Dr. Moses Okwuosa,Chief Arinze Okpara, Oguama Chukwuma.

In appreciation of a honor well deserved Chisimdi Ezediokwere, King of boys Ijegun Ijeododo appreciated the association for seeming it fit to be given an award , he expresses gratitude. More also Captain Tony Anioma also thanked the association for recognizing him to be honored.
