New Monetary Policy:”This Is Naira Seizure Not Naira Swap” – Arewa Communities Lament.

The Arewa community leader ,Lagos state, also an exco ( Hon. Commissioner for waterfront ). Arch. Kabiru .A. Abdullahi has lamented over the current hardship experienced by his people due to money scarcity crisis. He said that his people can no longer flourish in their market , people selling food items such as : Tomato, Pepper , Onions , even Cows deposited their hard earned cash in banks as directed by CBN but couldn’t get the new bank notes. This has posed a big problem as the people can’t go about their legitimate businesses on account of shortage of naira in circulation.
Arch. Kabiru urges President Muhammad Buhari to reverse the order and allow the old 500, and 1000 notes co-exist in circulation to ease the tension it’s shortage has posed. He further expressed in sympathy the hard times and sufferings melted out on Nigerians while some have lost their lives due to the naira swap policy. Emefiele has not done this in the interest of Nigeria while Buhari has been deceived and wrongly advice. He made this statement while addressing the Arewa Community at ICC ( independent Campaign Council ) office , GRA , lkeja.
The honourable implored all the Arewa community not to relent in their support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who happened to be the grand patron of Arewa community in Lagos State. He said Tinubu has been earlier endorsed, the failed implementation of naira swap shouldn’t deter the initial purpose in preparation for the election come 25th of February, 2023.
Tinubu has done a lot for me and the Arewa community as a whole, this is a payback period to come out in full and cast our votes for Tinubu / Shettima , for President and Vice – President of Nigeria, Arch. Kabiru noted.
Arch. concluded his address by stating that , the issue of fuel scarcity and naira shortage shouldn’t deprive Arewa youths from exercising their civic rights, people should vote for Tinubu / Shettina , and Sanwo-Olu / Hamzat ,along with aill other APC candidates during the election.
Earlier at the event, the North central people ( Idoma, Tiv, Igede, and Ogoja) residing in Lagos led by the D.G Alh. Patako also affirmed their solidarity in support for Tinubu and all APC candidates.

Prominent people at the event included : D.G ICC ,Tayo Ayinde , represented by DDG, Mr. Kola Pere Grilo, Alh. Alabi Macfoy , Deputy Chairman, Mrs Alakija, Director Voter Education, and other DDGs , ADDs in various capacities graced the event.
