According to Billboard, Trinidadian musician Nicki Minaj is the best female rapper of all time.
Top hip-hop artists including Lauryn Hill, Queen Latifah, and Missy Elliott were included in the Billboard staff’s choice of the Best Female Rappers of All Time.
Nicki Minaj’s competitors, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion, unexpectedly placed outside of the top 10.
Lil’ Kim, Lauryn Hill, Missy Elliott, Queen Latifah, and Minaj were ranked first, second, third, fourth, and fifth on the list, respectively.

The remaining ten artists were Foxy Brown, Eve, Roxanne Shanté, Salt-N-Pepa, and MC Lyte.
The rankings for Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion were 11 and 15, respectively.
Despite being considered by many music fans to be the best female rapper in history, Nicki Minaj has not yet received a Grammy.
Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B, two of her competitors, have both taken home Grammys in the rap category.
