Nigerian footballer Akinkunmi Amoo bags one year imprisonment for sexually assaulting three women in Denmark.

Former Golden Eaglets star, Akinkunmi Amoo, has been convicted and sentenced to one year imprisonment for sexual assault by the District Court in Denmark.
The 20-year-old FC Copenhagen star, who was accused of sexually assaulting three women, was sentenced on Friday, June 23.
According to reports, the top player in Danish football was charged with rape in a sexual relationship other than intercourse, as well as attempted rape and violations of two more women.
He was found guilty of all three charges in the Copenhagen District Court by a dissenting magistrate on Friday afternoon, and was sentenced to one year imprisonment.

The court also reportedly slammed him with a six-year entry ban to Denmark.
Amoo is said to be appealing the decision, although it is not known when the appeal will go to court.
