Big Bolaji, a Nigerian gospel singer whose real name was Bolaji Olarewaju, has passed away.
His family released a statement on Saturday confirming his death.
After a brief illness, Big Bolaji passed away, the message said.
Bolaji Olarewaju, also known as “Big B,” was a beloved father, husband, brother, and respected member of the church community. He was also an ordained pastor in the RCCG and a titan in the music industry and our community. We regret to inform you of his passing, according to parts of the statement.

“Bolaji departed from us on Easter Saturday, April 19, 2025, following a brief illness.”
The family also stated that information on his funeral will be released when it is ready.
