Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike has declared that the recently refurbished Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre is completely reserved through 2027, demonstrating strong demand and confirming the government’s commitment in the venue.
The Kugbo Bus and Taxi Terminal, one of several infrastructure projects inaugurated in honor of President Bola Tinubu’s second year in office, was the site of Wike’s announcement on Thursday in Abuja.
Public outrage had been directed at the FCT government for spending ₦39 billion to renovate the conference center. Wike asserted that the project was a good investment, nevertheless, given the large number of reservations and recent high-profile use, such as an ECOWAS meeting that President Tinubu hosted.
As of right present, that meeting center is reserved through 2027. The minister said, “There’s no room left.”

Wike emphasized that no official or branch of the government is exempt from the facility’s commercial operations.

Wike praised President Tinubu’s leadership, pointing out that making audacious choices despite opposition is necessary for real progress.
“A leader who doesn’t make decisions will fail. Whether or whether you do anything, people will always have something to say. Doing something and moving forward is crucial.
According to the minister, the recently finished Kugbo and Mabushi Bus Terminals and the continuing construction of a second terminal in the Central Business District are part of the ongoing efforts to upgrade Abuja’s transportation infrastructure and are intended to improve public transportation in the Federal Capital Territory.
