Super Falcons midfielder, Deborah Abiodun has been recalled by Washington Spirit from her loan to Dallas Trinity, DAILY POST reports.
Abiodun was signed by the National Women’s Soccer League, NWSL, club from University of Pittsburgh in January.
The Nigerian was immediately loaned to Dallas Trinity to gain further experience.
Washington Spirit have now decided to bring her back five months to the end of the loan.
The 21-year-old’s impressive performances for Dallas Trinity and Nigeria at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations was the reason behind Spirit’s decision to bring her back.
Abiodun featured in 14 games across all competitions for Dallas Trinity.
She played a crucial role in Nigeria’s successful campaign at WAFCON 2024.
