Nigerians will elect President Bola Tinubu once more in 2027, according to former presidential spokesperson Doyin Okupe.
Tinubu’s social media nickname, T-Pain, simply means Temporary Pain, according to Okupe, a former Labour Party campaigner for Peter Obi.
On Monday, Okupe made this statement while appearing as a guest on Channels Television’s Politics Today show.
According to him, there is an unwritten understanding between the northern and southern regions on the rotation of presidency.
He claimed that Tinubu “is doing well” and that he would use his eight years as former President Muhammadu Buhari, who he claimed did not do well, had finished.
It will be decided by Nigerians. Yes, I am certain. Okupe asserted with confidence the day after his meeting with the President in Abuja that Nigerians are reasonable, intelligent people who don’t expect too much from their leaders.

People will walk out on the streets and declare, “It’s Bola or nobody,” he continued, “if Bola Tinubu gives us light in 2027 and if he resolves this fuel crisis and this food crisis between now and then.”
Tinubu’s social media moniker, T-agony, “means temporary pain that will lead to an extensive, pleasant, and something good for the nation,” according to Okupe.
According to reports, Nigerians are struggling with the nation’s highest level of inflation in decades.
