Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, a seasoned Nollywood actress, has responded to inquiries on her friendship with Genevieve Nnaji.
According to a report, there is a widespread belief that the movie stars did not get along, especially since they are no longer spotted together as they were in their early careers.
However, the actor affirmed that their relationship is still solid in a recent interview with Pulse Nigeria.
Fans don’t have to worry about conflicts between them, she said.
“Are Omotola and Genevieve still friends?” inquired the interviewer.
“Oh, Christ Jesus. “We’re fine,” she remarked.
The actress named Chidi Mokeme as her favorite Nollywood actor and expressed her appreciation for him.
Omotola said that Mokeme is a gifted actress who never ceases to astound her, both on and off film.
Omotola denied a supposed conflict with Genevieve in an earlier interview.
She emphasized that it was comparable to the rumors people make about Nigerian singers and explained that they were never at odds.
“Na them start the quarrel before we know say we dey quarrel,” Omotola remarked, accusing fans of setting them up against one another. We must so resolve the conflict. There was no conflict. We had a conversation even though we weren’t great friends. We do talk normally, like behind the scenes.
