Funeral plans for Oskah are anticipated to be revealed shortly.
In an Instagram post responding to the news on Wednesday, renowned writer and Ovation International editor Dele Momodu called Ibru a socialite par excellence and an incredibly amiable man.
The news that one of Nigeria’s most recognizable businesspeople, OLORUNGUN OSKAR IBRU, had passed away just reached me over the skies, he wrote. In addition to being a socialite par excellence, he was a very amiable man who was adored by his family and friends. He was OLOROGUN MICHAEL IBRU’s (business titan) son. I hope you rest in peace, my brother.
As a notable scion to the Ibru clan, Oskah holds a significant position in Nigeria’s business community.
He had a key role in maintaining and growing the maritime, oil and gas, real estate, and commerce conglomerate founded by his late father, Olorogun Michael Ibru.
