Abia State Governor, Alex Otti has appointed Dr Idowu Eluwa as the new Provost of the Abia State College of Education, Technical, Arochukwu and Joe Emerson as the Chairman, Governing Council of the College.
He also appointed Uche Mark Nwosu as his Chief protocol officer and Ikechukwu Nwankwo, Deputy Chief protocol officer.
The statement signed by the Secretary to Abia State government, Professor Kenneth Kalu on Monday, also named
Emmanuel Irechi, Amarachi Inyama, and Augustine Chukwuebuka as Protocol officers while Adaeze Iroegbu was appointed the Chief Moderator to the Governor.
Iheanyi Frank Chinasa was named the Chief Liaison Officer/National Assembly Liaison Officer to the Governor.
In the transport sector, Otti appointed Emmanuel Ufomba as the Chairman, Abia State transport Corporation ABIA with Godanswer Kalu, Mrs Salomey Onwu, Kingsley Oriaku and Onyebuchi Nna who will serve as members of the Corporation.
Other appointees are, Chima Ukwa Special Assistant on Sports, Christian Enwerenmadu, Special Adviser on Agriculture and Mrs. Chinenye Nwaka, Senior Special Assistant on Women Affairs.
The statement by the Secretary to Abia State government said the appointments are with immediate effect.
