Claims of involvement in a ₦1.5 billion scam have been refuted by Pastor Bolaji Idowu, the lead pastor of Harvesters International Christian Center (HICC).
Addressing the allegations during his Wednesday “Next Level Prayers” session, the pastor clarified his position and upheld his innocence in response to the widely shared charges on social media.
“There has been a lot of news about me on social media over the past 24 hours,” Pastor Idowu said. “I just want to make a few points very clear.”
He claimed to have no commercial interests in real estate transactions and denied accusations that he was involved in fraudulent real estate transactions.
He declared, “Aside from the property my late parents left me, I have no other property in Nigeria.”
“Buying and selling real estate is not my line of work.”
Claims that Pastor Bolaji Idowu received substantial cash deposits into his accounts—specifically, billions of naira—were also denied.
“I got billions into my account, someone stated. Anyone may see if I’ve ever received such sums because my account is open to the public. “I didn’t,” he proclaimed.

Thanking individuals who came out with encouraging words, the pastor struck a positive note as he thanked his followers.
“I would like to thank everyone who showed such love.” He declared, “We are victorious,” and added that the issue had not deterred him.
Idowu also recognized that the accusations were made public and that they had drawn attention.
“I’m reading it, too, just like you are, like, wow,” he said.
