The Plateau State Police Command has arrested three suspects in connection with the killing of a female passenger during an attack on a commercial motorcycle in Butura Kampani village, Bokkos Local Government Area.
The incident was shared in a post on X by security analyst Zagazola Makama on Friday.
According to Makama, the attack occurred on August 26 when gunmen targeted a motorcyclist, Mangut Matthew, and two of his female passengers, resulting in the death of one of the women.
Following credible intelligence, the police arrested three suspects identified as Benjamin Daniel, also known as Allamis; Jerry Reuben; and Monday Darah, also known as Terror, all from Bokkos town.
“The suspects have provided useful statements to the police, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend other members of the gang and recover their operational arms,” sources said.
The police assured the public that the command remained committed to ensuring that perpetrators of violent crimes in the state face justice.
