In Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State, Muhammad Adamu, the Chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, or MACBAN, was shot dead.
On Wednesday night, Adma was murdered by unidentified shooters.
According to information obtained, the incident happened at the deceased’s home shortly after he had finished his breakfast.
After verifying the occurrence to reporters, MACBAN State Chairman Ibrahim Yusuf Babayo denounced it in its totality and urged security forces to look into and apprehend those responsible for the heinous conduct.
“This is not a good situation. “We urge security agencies to look into this and find the people responsible for this horrible act so that they can be held accountable by the law,” he said.
The deceased’s body has been placed at Barkin Ladi General Hospital and is scheduled to be buried today (Thursday), according to Alhaji Danjuma Ibrahim, a community youth leader who also verified the attack.
Although he denounced the act, Danjuma noted that the chairman had been the target of gunmen three times before, but they had all failed.
The shooters attacked him and shot him several times, he said. His body has bullet wounds on it. They ran from the scene after shooting him.

We were in the hospital when he was taken there, so security officers, including police and soldiers, responded.
The youth leader called the assault on the MACBAN chairman regrettable, adding that “he was instrumental in maintaining peace in the Barkin Ladi area prior to his passing.”
Because of his importance in maintaining community harmony, his passing will live on in our memories, he insisted.
Upon being reached, DSP Alfred Alabo, the Plateau State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, responded, “I’m not aware of the incident because we have our channel of communication, so honestly, I’m not aware yet.”
