POCACOV Appoints Eze Chika Nwokedi As Royal Patron For South-West

The Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices has appointed Eze Chika Nwokedi as its royal patron, following his contribution to community development while ensuring safety and utmost security in his jurisdiction of reign as Ezendigbo Ijegun Ijeododo.
The appointment letter signed by CSP. Oluseyi Olabisi Okuwobi, psc National Coordinator, POCACOV, states that as Royal Patron, Eze Chika Nwokedi is expected to play a crucial role in supporting and promoting POCACOV’s initiatives. His involvement is meant to inspire stakeholders and give invaluable guidance in helping to achieve preventive policing goals. POCACOV expressed confidence that Eze Chika’s passion for a crime-free Nigeria aligns perfectly with the POCACOV mission.
Furthermore, POCACOV requests Eze Nwokedi’s advocacy as a spokesman in promoting POCACOV’s mission and values to the wider audience in the South West; give fundraising to assist in securing financial resources and sponsorships meant to sustain and expand POCACOV programs (advocacy, rehabilitation, and reintegration of target groups) in any part of the country.
Other roles to be performed by Eze Nwokedi include networking, which involves the utilization of an extensive network to connect POCACOV with potential partners, donors, and supporters, and mentoring, which is the act of providing guidance and mentorship to POCACOV’s team, sharing expertise and insights.
POCACOV states that Eze Chika, as Royal Patron, will be instrumental in advancing and bolstering POCACOV’s efforts. His participation will motivate interested parties, and his advice will be crucial in advancing the objectives of preventive policing. POCACOV is confident that Eze Chika’s desire to see Nigeria free of crime is a wonderful fit with its goal.
